Resizing
Our jewellery repairs and restoration service also includes free resizing on new rings purchased from us. In most cases, ring sizes can be adjusted within a couple of hours. We also offer an express service for selected repairs and alterations if you need something sooner than our standard turnaround times. Please speak to our team for details and applicable charges.
Timescales
Most repair work is completed within 1–2 weeks, while more complex repairs and restorations typically take 3–4 weeks. We will always provide an estimate before proceeding and explain any potential additional charges that may arise.
In-House and Outsourced Work
Our team understands how precious your jewellery is to you. That’s why our in-store goldsmiths are always on hand to offer expert advice and carry out repairs with the utmost care.
Some work, such as engraving, enamelling and complex stone setting, must be carried out by specialist craftspeople. In these cases, we ensure your jewellery is fully insured while in transit and in the care of our trusted specialists.
Rhodium Plating
We offer rhodium plating for white gold rings as part of our repairs and restoration service. Before replating, we carefully polish the ring to remove surface scratches and any remaining rhodium, ensuring a bright, even finish when it is returned to you.
For rings set with diamonds or gemstones, we also check all stone settings during the process, so you can continue to wear your jewellery with confidence.
*Please note: This excludes silver rings, full eternity rings and certain styles that cannot be resized. If a ring cannot be resized, we will always advise you before any work is carried out. If a ring size is incorrect and cannot be adjusted, we will happily exchange it for the correct size, where possible, provided the ring has not been worn.
